3Well Medical has asked the CCP to assess whether Peterborough PCT has acted inconsistently with the Principles and Rules for Cooperation and Competition. 3Well Medical has alleged that Peterborough PCT has failed to act consistently with Principles 1, 2 and 5 in relation to the possible reconfiguration of primary care services in the Peterborough area (including the possible closure of the Alma Road Primary Care Centre operated by 3Well Medical).
The CCP is assessing this issue under the conduct and procurement provisions of the Principles and Rules for Cooperation and Competition and will decide whether the conduct of Peterborough PCT is likely to give rise to an adverse effect on patients or taxpayers.
