InterHealth Care Services (UK) Limited has asked the CCP to assess whether NHS Western Cheshire has acted inconsistently with the Principles and Rules for Cooperation and Competition in its commissioning of the Cheshire and Merseyside NHS Treatment Centre.
The CCP is assessing this issue under the conduct provisions of the Principles and Rules for Cooperation and Competition and will decide whether the conduct of NHS Western Cheshire could be expected to give rise to an adverse effect on patients or taxpayers.
The CCP would welcome submissions from interested individuals and organisations on any matter relevant to the CCP’s assessment of this case under the Principles and Rules for Cooperation and Competition. To submit evidence please email submissions to cases@ccpanel.gsi.gov.uk.
The closing date for initial submissions is 21 April 2011.
