Merger of part of the NHS Warwickshire Provider Services Arm with George Eliot NHS Trust

Three GP practices currently operate within the NHS Warwickshire provider health services arm and are proposing to merge with George Eliot NHS Trust.

Consistent with its merger guidelines, the CCP will examine the costs and benefits of the proposed merger to patients and taxpayers, in order to ascertain whether the transaction is consistent with Principle 10 of the Principles and Rules for Cooperation and Competition. In doing so, the CCP will consider the effect of the transaction on patient choice and competition in areas in and around Warwickshire.

The CCP welcomes submissions in writing from interested individuals and organisations on this issue or any other matter relevant to the CCP's assessment of this transaction under the Principles and Rules for Cooperation and Competition. To submit evidence please use the email address: cases@ccpanel.gsi.gov.uk.
